The increasingly fragile state of the environment on Auraxis is a growing concern for CR5s from all empires, according to a poll released today.
Figures show that greenhouse gases and particulate emissions have risen by a terrifying 280% in the last year alone.
One study carried out on Ishundar put it closer to 450% with drifting, broken NTUs responsible for most of the increase.
There are further fears about a layer of “grey goo”, the sooty remains of nanoscopic devices, completely covering the world unless harsh limits are introduced.
"If we don't start controlling the mass use of nanotech,” said Professor Steve Severin, of the Gunuku Biological Institute, “we might be waving goodbye to everything that makes this world worth fighting over.”
Transport is another major issue affected by these dramatic rises, with reports of courtyard ANT gridlock on the rise, and GALs being forced to enter a stacking system before hot-dropping their passengers over busy towers.
“Traffic fumes are causing breathing problems throughout Auraxis. Exhaust emission controls must be tightened and we must have more public transport,” said renowned nose specialist Michel Faber.
